In 2007 Cary Bell graduated from Webster University with a BA in media communications and international relations. She completed her final year of University at Webster’s Thailand campus, where she produced and directed her first feature length documentary, Barang, which examined Cambodia’s post-genocide reconstruction. Since graduating she has worked for CARE Honduras as a media coordinator, documenting their development projects, and CNN International’s London bureau as a freelance production assistant. There she quickly moved into their feature department, working on Richard Quest’s Business Traveler. After years of traveling the world and working abroad she returned to her hometown, Austin, TX, to produce and direct original content. She has since worked on numerous reality television concepts as a producer, shooter, and director.

She has been a part of the Motion Picture Editor’s Guild since 2009, and was the recipient of the Leo Hindery Award for Media Ethics in 2006. In addition to New York, Jessica has worked from Los Angeles, Austin, Cleveland, and Park City, to Nicaragua and Italy. Jessica has worked on projects that have been official selections for the Boston International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, and Sundance Film Festival. And for some strange reason, it is a common occurrence for Jess to be smacked/punched in the arm/leg by a director/producer when they watch something they like/love.
Susan Grossman: Producer

Susan Grossman graduated from Pitzer College with a degree in Activism Through the Arts. She spent her post-college years traveling the globe and landed back where she was born in New York City. Susan has worked on numerous television shows and now works full time at Moondog Edit. Growing up in the world of independent film making, it’s no surprise that Susan finds herself here.
